Arguments for Polygyny and eating biblically by pastors who disagree.

If these guys would apply the same principle to their study of marriage from scripture they'd all accept polygyny.
I generally follow pretty similar hermeneutical principles to pastor Durbin, and that is why I recognize the legitimacy of polygyny.

Unfortunately all these Reformed guys are inconsistent when they get to this topic.

That's the problem... an inconsistent hermeneutic. The same goes for the old-age-earthers.... inconsistent.

Well there is also this point. They don’t understand how translation works. Bible Translation is by committee and if they use a certain word in a translation they would never get it through the committee and approved and you would no longer have a job. This is why we have misunderstanding of what the Bible actually says. They will say things like 1 Timothy 3 that it’s a new testament verse saying only one wife and the word their is Mia which has other places it’s translated correctly as first or at least one, in 1 Timothy 3 it is incorrectly translated to one. Bible Translators are humans and they weren’t given direct Holy Spirit inspiration like the men who wrote the Bible.
