The drama is getting old and tired and only serves to dissuade others from participating. If that’s the purpose, it’s working like a charm.
Thanks @Mojo, but the doesn't answer the "why" question. I know what the site owners have determined, the right of moderators to police that, the desire to stick with the mission, etc.. But I cannot see why it is fundamentally impossible for some...

@frederick or @Mojo -- please explain how it could possibly be "against the rules" to explain to a brother in Messiah the scientific basis for suggesting that
STILL don't make certain un-named things safe to eat...
To be fair, some who have gone on TV shows were talked into it as a way to raise awareness of the situation and to show we aren't Warren Jeffs types. My family is close friends with 6 families from such shows, all under the umbrella of Mormondom...
