    And sadly the converse is often true. When a person does not exhibit self control/discipline in one area, it may show a proclivity to live that way in other areas.

    Very true Steve. The physical aspect is only one relatively small part of being a quality man. Developing self control and discipline in one area of life often helps us develop them in others.
