How did that work out for Catholicism?

Catholicism here in America is morphing into something that appears on the surface to be like Evangelical Christianity, without shedding all the ritual stuff the RCC likes. Now elsewhere, where they are in power, they make no such pretension, unless they start seeing the growth of Evangelical Christianity, in which case they resort to violence and efforts to oppress and even overturn authorities that do not submit to the Catholic Church. So it really depends on what part of the world they have to accommodate, and how popular the other options are in that part of the world. I think that is the point @MemeFan was getting to.
You are both in past. I'm speaking of present.

My point was that Catholicism is already paganistic, and the religions that broke off of it have too much paganism.

You are not getting it.

From their perspective problem is getting bigger every year. How long till they can't ignore it?

In this year they got public pastor desertion, BibFam was mentioned from pulpit. Historically unprecented. Otherwise, it would be "business as usual", not news.

So we are getting out of ignore stage.

You are also not getting wider trends. Incoming fragmentation with potential of return of medieval-like feudalism, uncertainty driven by AI, economic changes....all those must drive questioning of existing beliefs. Many will find truth.

And when too many know truth, it can't ignored anymore.

By the way, many have become resistant to public shaming by wokes. Do you this offical church will even be able to use same methods to keep their visitors in line? Or will visitors see throught it? More and more will see.

Besides, Lord will have to start doing stuff, if He already isn't. Because current biggest threat aren't Muslims, globalists etc.... If official church won't start defending right of Western people to exist, they will return to paganism.
You make some good points in this post.

How things are going official church won't be able to ignore Christian polygyny.
He kind of did! He kind of glossed over it. In fact, to my surprise, he described their marriage as beautiful! What can I say to that?
Title of the message was "Listening to a Godly Voice", and that voice was the voice of none other than Abigail!

Now for this coming Sunday, Pastor Tony announced that he will be speaking about 16 months of David's life BEFORE Bathseba, which he said were 16 months of sin. OK, this should be interesting! I cannot help but wonder what those sins were that he seems to think David was involved in!

EDIT: It is 59 minutes into the video, for those who don't wish to watch the entire service.

Quick update: So the message was about David fleeing to Gath and "serving" King Achish. That is what the good pastor was calling "sin". Hmmmmm! While I can see where he is coming from, Scripture never really called that a sin.

Scripture says David sinned not save the matter of Uria the Hittite.

Ignorant pasters say Abraham lacked faith because he told the king Sarah was his sister....but the scriptures DONT say that either! Smh

Alpha male is usually used for men at top of social hierachy or men many women find desirable.

Nothing like that here.
