There was a village that only allowed owners to have one dog. They believed that anyone who loved more than one dog, was full of lust. They impugned the motive of such dog lovers. The town was overrun with ferral dogs, and the shelter had to kill dozens of dogs every night, because no one was there to adopt those dogs. No one ever stopped to consider that the reason the dogs were acting out and barking about how Dogs Lives Matter and pretending to be cats, was this One owner, One Dog policy that they had! .... Can you imagine a dog having multiple owners?
I came up with this, because I read somewhere that it is easier to persuade someone, when you tell them a story.
