Prayer request Please Praise YHWH!

Not all accidents are survived. I heard from my mom lastnight that one of my first cousins lost two grandchildren yesterday morning. Her daughter was driving children to school and somehow hit a parked flatbed trailer on the side of the freeway. The impact ripped the side of the truck off. Their 6 year old son who is 3 years in remission from cancer survived with minor injuries. Their 9 year old son and 11 year old daughter were killed. The mother is in the hospital. They now have two children, a daughter that just started 8th grade, and their youngest.
Life is fragile. Thankfully they have faith.

I saw this after I posted.

Oh my. I can see that an awful lot of people are loving on them and I hope that helps them in this time of need.

Just a quick update on Connor from his dad Joe.

He’s got some more improvement. It’s slow. We think he may have another broken or fractured vertebrae about 4” below his surgery. He’s saying it feels like bone on bone there. Scheduled to go back in for a full imaging. 3 MRI, several CT scans and multiple X-rays on the 28th.
He is having increased nerve sensation in his groin, waist, both legs and feet and one shoulder within the last week. Says it feels like broken glass. Pretty painful but positive news.
We’ve also finally got him seen by a neurosurgeon and a Physical Medicine and Rehab doc here in Tulsa. Also looks like he’s been approved for the Advance program which takes care of in home care. Should have confirmation within the next few days.
I’ve been super busy and just haven’t gotten updates out like I need to. I’ll try to put another one out after we get the imaging results.
Super appreciate the prayers and support.

Connor had another aweful time with bladder and kidney stones. He got through that ....but it was rough.
Just yesterday I got really good news. He has movement in a foot again. He can move his toes!!
That is both small, and HUGE!

The baby is growing and just started crawling. Lanora is hanging in there.

There will be a wedding in September for Connor's baby sis and our second son.

A double connection between our families!

Great news on two fronts! Praying answers will come regarding the kidney stones and bladder. That is tough to deal with repeatedly on top of everything else.

He came out of a procedure for the bladder stones with extreme off the charts neck pain.
When they took him to get imaging of his neck one of the nurses just pulled the pillow out from under his head!
That kind of callous indifference to his condition makes us suspect they may have moved him carelessly while ge was under anesthesia. ....and they call this health CARE?? SMH

Abortions and euthanasia are also part of the "health care" system. I suspect aborted babies don't feel well "cared" for either. :(
Good (bad sad) point. :-(

It was the anniversary of the truck wreck last night. As we got close to the time of that phone call last year I returned thanks again for His protection and provision....the answered prayers, and all His tender mercies through this last year. I'm thankful He has sustained Connor, and the rest of the family through the stresses and labor that have gone with dealing with this so called Healthcare system. Thankful for the progress Connor has made toward recovery.. and the hope we have that it will continue. I'm Thankful for the new perspective and healing in my heart that is letting me have joy, peace and harmony in my life again.

There are not many Mormon hymns that are worship music. How Great Thou Art is in their hymn book, but the one line from a closing hymn that is playing in my heart this morning sings about praising him for un numbered blessings. I went to sleep with a heart full of grattitude.

"Sing we now at parting, one more strain of praise. To our Heavenly Father, sweetest songs we'll raise. For his loving kindness, for his tender care. Let our strains of gladness fill this sabath air.
V2
Praise him for His mercy praise Him for His love. For un numbered blessings praise YHWH (The Lord) above. Let our happy voices still the strains prolong. One alone is worthy of our sweetest song.

There is a third verse too that I had forgotten.

Jesus, our Redeemer,
Now our praises hear;
While we bow before Thee,
Lend a list’ning ear.
Save us, Lord, from error,
Watch us day by day,
Help us now to serve Thee
In a pleasing way.

This verse hits close to home for me as I have just recently realized another wonderful change in my heart. Looking back I can see many "errors" looking forward I have hope.

Connor has been doing very well. He has movement now in all four limbs, but not a lot. For example, the other night when his wife was massaging hus hands they found that with her holding his hand he can move his little finger. This is huge! He has long been able to move his arms, but controlling or firing one finger is a new breakthrough.
He can move his legs too. If they are positioned so his knees are bent he can straighten them. He can move toes a bit on his left foot.
Right now he is back in the hospital because of another uti and more kidney stones. A setback our girl is frustrated about as she has done everything she knows of to help him and try to prevent that.

We know his current health and returning abilities reflect many answered prayers.
So please, continue to praise YHWH.

He is in so many details of our lives. We met a man that lives close to Connor while visiting last month. A tall strong able bodied man. A praying man. Aman serious about righteousness. A man who was badly injured in military service and spent 3 years in a chair. Our daughter invited him to dinner as she feels his testimony would encourage her husband. I can only see these kind of connections as "divine appointments" as we could have contacted a number of other people for what he had listed ...for free...on fb marketplace.

Just thought I'd share a little update. They have a lovely little joy of a daughter who is one now. ...and hope to have more.

Thank you so much for the update Jolene!

Our son, daughter, and her husband were in a bad accident last night. Many miracles already. We are praising YHWH that there is only one patient in the hospital. He has had a surgery this morning for a spinal cord injury. They expect him to be in the icu for about a week.
We are planning recoveries instead of funerals. Our daughter is pregnant and the baby and her are fine.
Please join us in praising Him and giving thanks.
Jesus send your healing hands over this family give the Drs grace we come together and pray this in Jesus name
