The UFO/UAP disclosures of May 2026

Here’s a description about this predicament from one of the greatest Christian minds of all time.

“C.S. Lewis’s “Out of the Silent Planet” (1938) and his ensuing “space trilogy,” in which the hero Ransom meets a variety of hnau, or “rational animals.” The lucky species on Lewis’s Mars and Venus never ate the forbidden fruit and so remain in happy agreement about the nature of their common maker.”

I’m curious if anyone has come across this line of thinking. IF these aliens are for real, would they automatically present a challenge to our understanding of messianic redemption?
According to Romans 8:22 the whole creation was affected by sin and the curse and awaits deliverance. It would be a contradiction to say some parts of the whole creation weren’t affected. Also, the Creator is not unjust therefore it would be inconsistent for Him to curse another civilization if they were not descendants of Adam and Eve.

They would not necessarily challenge core Christian doctrines but they would greatly complicate some people’s faith.

Another thought to keep in mind here concerning the curse of the whole creation, Jesus Christ came as a man to die for the sins of men. His substitutionary death redeems sinful men, not klingons or any creatures from the planet zorb. Since He died once there is no sacrifice and therefore no salvation for those beings. When the existing creation is replaced with the new heavens and earth, those creatures get destroyed for no fault of theirs. That would make God unjust, something He cannot be. Shalom

That is an interesting take. There would be theoretical ways around it though.

To be clear, I do not believe that there are aliens or even demons masquerading as aliens.

But if it were proven there were I don’t know why it would be an indefensible opinion to think that they had a unique revelation and relationship with the Creator.

It would not be a hard case to make that the Bible’s limit was Earth. This is explicitly the case Lewis makes in Out of the Silent Planet.

I also am skeptical of what is actually being found as Alison life. But the two divergent thoughts amongst Biblicists would be these two competing camps.
