Also - going back to Exodus 22:16-17 - the Father in Heaven does not give authority or veto power to the husband’s wife. The only one that has a voice is the girl’s father.
Also, it’s written that the Father’s ways are higher than our ways.
So the commandment that the husband can add wives without roadblocks within his household is holy, righteous, and good (Romans 7:12). So, why are there so many Christian women believing they know better, and giving themselves authority and power where the Father in Heaven gives none? What is the fruit of women grabbing authority and veto power where the Father gives none? Imagine if the CEO of a corporation cannot add employees. How can he grow his company? Women hide behind their lust for power, control, and jealousy in the name of love. They set aside the commandments of God in the name of romance. No wonder so many of these marriages built upon “romance,” end up unhappy; and/or divorced.
